The Path

The path started with a business degree she didn't plan on and a pharmaceutical sales career where she was the only woman on the East Coast team - where fitting in meant donning the pantsuit, sipping bourbon, and laughing loudly at jokes that weren't always that funny. 

She went on to found a not-for-profit, own businesses, and sit on boards. Then came a return to school for a teaching degree, then administration, then a Master's in Education, and eventually Head of School - the role that showed her, more clearly than any other, what women in leadership were up against. 

What she kept seeing was the same pattern everywhere she looked. Capable, committed, highly educated women carrying more than they should, delegating less than they needed to, and convinced the problem was personal. It wasn't. It was structural. And nobody had built a framework that accounted for that - until now.

Leaking Authority is that framework. The workshops and keynotes that carry it into organizations are how it travels. And LeadHERship Educational Solutions exists for one reason: to give women leaders the tools the leadership industry never gave them. 

On a side note - she still wears pantsuits when she feels like it, sips wine instead of bourbon, and laughs at her own jokes. She has earned every bit of it.
